Franks Faces Challenge After Disappointing Season

Video will be available shortly.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Bubba Franks knows he'll have to compete for playing time this year after failing to catch a single touchdown during a disappointing 2006 season.

The veteran Franks went home to Miami to clear his head in the offseason and said he returns with a fresh attitude.

Franks believes he's more of a team player now, that regardless of who catches the ball, he wants to a Super Bowl.

Franks also got leaner in the offseason.

He says he got rid of all the good stuff - Oreos, Twinkies, Dunkin' Donuts and Krispie Kremes.

McCarthy praised Franks for coming back in better shape.

At the same time, McCarthy made it clear that there will be competition at tight end in training camp this year.
