MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are coming off their best homestand in 15 years after completing a sweep of the Washington Nationals at Miller Park yesterday.

The Brewers have won their last six games and gone 9-1 on the homestand.

Their record of 24-10 is the best in the major leagues, and manager Ned Yost says the players are having a great time winning games.

Geoff Jenkins homered and drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning of yesterday's game, a 3-1 win over the Nationals.

Jenkins says the team is getting a quiet feeling of confidence after the early success this season.

According to Jenkins, when the players walk in each day, there's an expectation of winning that hasn't been with the team in the past.
