MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Doctors have cleared Ben Sheets to pitch tonight for the Brewers.
The right-hander left his last start after three innings with a groin strain.
But Sheets practiced yesterday and had an exam by team physician William Raasch, who gave the OK for Sheets to pitch against the Cardinals tonight.
An off day for the team last Thursday, giving Sheets an extra day to recuperate.
