Report: UWSP's Egner Interested in UWGB Job

UW-Stevens Point women's basketball coach Shirley Egner is a serious candidate to take over the head caching job at UW-Green Bay.
Egner met with Phoenix officials, including Athletic Director Ken Bothof, this past weekend in Wausau.
According to the Stevens Point Journal, Egner says she is interested in the job.
The only thing that could be lacking on Egner's resume is Division One experience.
She has a career mark of 450-219, with a school record 360 wins at Stevens Point, including a national title in 2002 and another Final Four in 2004.
