MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Larry Harris knows what might be at stake if the Milwaukee Bucks don't perform up to expectations next season: His job.
The Bucks' general manager said today that he was, "completely 100 percent on board" with comments from the team's owner, Senator Herb Kohl, that Harris' future would depend largely on how well the team plays next season.
Harris, who has one year left on his contract, said that he loves Milwaukee and is looking forward to next season - even given the uncertainty about his future.
Harris said, "If we do what we're expected to do, you'll see my shining face. If not, then we go in a different direction. And you know what? I'm comfortable with that."
Kohl said Monday that he has confidence in Harris, but also made it clear that the team will have to perform for Harris' future with the team to be assured.
