Soon after the Packers defeated the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, the National Football Post, a Web site owned in part by cornerback Al Harris' agent, Jack Bechta, reported that his client is likely out for the rest of the season with an ACL tear.
Harris' injury occured in the fourth quarter. In the third, it was linebacker Aaron Kampman who limped off the field and was eventually carted to the lockerroom with a similar injury.
Neither injury was confirmed by the team after the game, but a league source has told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal that the preliminary diagnosis was the dreaded ACL tear. Both players will have MRIs taken Monday to confirm the severity of the injuries.
