MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers' value has increased 22 percent in the last year.
Forbes magazine reports the franchise is worth $287 million.
Principal owner Mark Attanasio bought the team for $223 million in January 2005.
Forbes valued the Brewers at $235 million last year.
The magazine estimates revenue at $144 million.
The New York Yankees are listed as the most valuable franchise, at $1.2 billion.
