Joe Pavelski of the San Jose Sharks played in his first NHL playoff game last night.
They beat the Nashville Predators 3-1.
Pavelski, a former standout at SPASH and at UW-Madison, scored 14 goals and had 14 assists this season.
He also missed several games due to injury.
