GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers will open their regular season at Lambeau Field for the 11th time in the last 14 years.

The National Football League schedule released today shows them kicking off play by hosting the Philadelphia Eagles at noon September 9.

Seven of the eight home games are set to start at noon.

The only exception is the October 7 game against the Chicago Bears at 7:15 for NBC's national Sunday night telecast.

Three Packer road games are also scheduled to be nationally televised.

They are a Monday night appearance October 29 at Denver, Thanksgiving day at Detroit November 22 and a Thursday night game November 29 at Dallas.

The Gold ticket package games are September 23 against San Diego and November 11 against Minnesota.

The five Sunday games from November 18 to the end of the regular season are subject to change under the NFL's flexible scheduling policy, which ensures the best possible late-season matchups for nationally televised games.
