MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Top scorer Michael Redd will miss the Milwaukee Bucks' final six games of the season.

Redd missed two games with pain in his left knee before he re-aggravated the problem when he scored 25 points in Saturday night's overtime loss to the New York Knicks.

General manager Larry Harris says that after consulting with team doctors, a decision was made to have Redd rest and rehabilitate the knee, and he's expected to make a full recovery.

Redd averaged 26.7 points in 53 games for the Bucks this season.

That's the team's high since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar averaged 30 points in the 1974-75 season.
