MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are considering restricting tailgating at Miller Park on Opening Day next year to those holding tickets for the game.
Some ticketholders for Monday's game couldn't get into the parking lots because they were full by 11:45 a.m. - an hour and 20 minutes before the game.
They were directed to State Fair Park where shuttles brought them back to the ballpark.
Brewers executive Rick Schlesinger says the team isn't sure how many people came to Miller Park just to tailgate on Opening Day.
Schlesinger says they'll look into changing the policy, but are concerned checking tickets might slow traffic into the stadium.
