MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Tens of thousands of fans are congregating at Miller Park today for one of baseball's most revered traditions - Opening Day.

Even though officials said the parking lots would be open at 10 a.m., they were opened much earlier with traffic snarling into 30-minute waits.

Row after row in the parking lots are filled with fans in jackets grilling brats and burgers in preparation of the 1 p.m. start between the Brewers and Dodgers.

Jason VandenHeuvel didn't have to worry about finding a place to park or camp out.

He got on a bus in Green Bay with his father at 6 a.m. to come to his first-ever opening day.

The 23-year-old VandenHeuvel says he's pumped for the season to begin, as he sips a Miller Lite in the parking lot.
