PHOENIX (AP) -- Geoff Jenkins doubled in the first and sixth innings to drive in three runs, as the Milwaukee Brewers ended their home exhibition schedule with a 4-2 victory over a skeleton crew from the Los Angeles Angels yesterday.
The Angels' squad was mainly minor league players because most of the major leaguers were in Los Angeles for a night game against the Dodgers at Dodgers Stadium.
Brewers manager Ned Yost gave every player on his roster playing time.
Infielder Ozzie Chavez knocked in Milwaukee's other run with a two-out single in the fourth.
The Brewers broke camp after the game to head for Texas, where they will play the Rangers in exhibition games today and tomorrow.
