PHOENIX (AP) -- Packers coach Mike McCarthy says he'll focus on helping Brett Favre improve his decision-making and overall efficiency this season.
In his first year as coach, McCarthy made some headway in getting Favre to lower his interceptions from 29 to 18.
But, there was also less production and a significant drop in completion percentage.
Favre's 56 percent rate last season was a career low.
At the NFL owners' meeting in Phoenix, McCarthy says he'll work to make the passing attack more efficient, especially inside the opponents' 20-yard line.
