TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Milwaukee Brewers starter Claudio Vargas limited his former team to two runs in seven innings in a 9-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in exhibition baseball today in Tucson, Arizona.
Vargas gave up three hits and a walk and struck out three.
Brewers first baseman Vinny Rottino hit his third home run of the spring off Enrique Gonzalez in the third and Gabe Gross hit his first of the spring off Brandon Medders.
