SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) -- Tony Graffanino's tough day ended with an ejection.
Graffanino is battling to be Milwaukee's starting third baseman, but he went 0-for-4 and grounded into a double play with the bases loaded in the eighth in the Brewers' 7-to-6 victory over the Royals.
Graffanino threw his helmet and was ejected by plate umpire Travis Reininger.
Graffanino exchanged heated words with Reininger before being pulled away by Kevin Mench.
Mench also hit a homer for the Brewers.
