PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers take on the San Diego Padres in exhibition baseball today at Peoria, Arizona.
Among the new faces on this year's Milwaukee team is hard-hitting catcher Johnny Estrada, acquired in a multi-player trade with Arizona last fall.
He's taken over the starting catcher's job, dropping Damian Miller to a backup role, and Miller says it took him some time to adjust to that idea.
But now he's decided that, at the age of 37, it could be the perfect thing for him.
It could prolong his career a couple years, and it could also be a big help to the team because with less playing time, he should be feeling fresh in September and able to contribute more then.
