MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Passed over by the NCAA, the Wisconsin women's basketball team has received an at-large berth in the 48-team Women's National Invitation Tournament.
The Badgers, who have a 19-12 record, learned of the selection last night.
They received a first-round bye and will face either Arkansas State or Murray State in a second-round game tentatively scheduled Sunday at the Kohl Center in Madison.
