PHOENIX (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have been cautious with Prince Fielder so far this year.

He missed the first nine games with a muscle strain, but today he hit a homer in his spring training debut, although the game ended with the San Francisco Giants beating the Brewers 10-7.

Brewers ace Ben Sheets struggled with focus but felt like he had another solid effort, giving up two runs, two hits and two walks in three innings.

Sheets battled back and shoulder problems the past two seasons but says his arm feels free now.

Jason Ellison went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a walk for San Francisco and has reached base 14 of his last 15 plate appearances.

Giants starter Noah Lowry gave up two runs off three hits in three innings and allowed a solo home run to Johnny Estrada, who is batting .556.

After Fielder's homer in the fourth, Bill Hall hit his second homer in as many days on the next pitch from reliever Sun-Woo Kim.

Drew Anderson also hit a homer for Milwaukee.
