Milwaukee Vincent 45, Antigo 21

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Milwaukee Vincent unleashed its star guard in the third quarter, and Jade Hatchett took control.

She dished out eight assists while not committing a turnover and sparked the Vikings to a 45-21 victory over Antigo in today's Division One quarterfinals of the WIAA State High School Girls Basketball Tournament.

Hatchett scored nine pionts and Destinee Blue led Vincent with 11.

Nobody scored more than six for Antigo.

Vincent jumped to a 10-2 lead but led only 12-8 at halftime after going into a stall in the second quarter.

Then came the third quarter, when Vincent charged to a 36-16 advantage.

The Vikings advance to a semifinal game tomorrow night against Merrill.

Vincent's record is 22-1, while Antigo ended at 22-3.
