PHOENIX (AP) -- Brewers pitcher Chris Capuano didn't look quite right when he showed up at the clubhouse today.
The all-star lasted only 1 2/3 innings in his first start of the spring yesterday.
After the game, Capuano said he was fine physically.
His demeanor had to do with his glove.
Turns out losing your mitt isn't something reserved for Little Leaguers.
Capuano had to borrow a left-handed mitt from a clubhouse attendant yesterday.
The pitcher wasn't the victim of a locker room prank, just a little bad luck.
He left his glove in the bullpen during a session and an attendant picked it up and delivered it to the equipment manager.
Capuano's glove turned up just before the team took the field today.
