PHOENIX (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers open their exhibition schedule today by taking on the New York Yankees in Phoenix.
One Milwaukee player who is not expected to see any action is outfielder Gabe Gross.
He suffered a strained right hamstring yesterday while running the 60-yard dash for time.
Gross pulled up about ten yards from the finish line during his second 60-yard sprint.
Gross missed most of the final month of last season with a strained left hamstring.
Catcher Damian Miller is sidelined with a moderate strain of his left calf muscle.
He injured it Tuesday and an exam showed no further damage.
