Badgers End Non-Conference Schedule with a Win

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Wisconsin's Alando Tucker scored 29 points to lead the fourth-ranked Badgers to a 64-to-54 win over Georgia today.

Tucker's last field goal, a three-pointer with two minutes and thirteen second left to play, gave Wisconsin (14-1) a 56-to-51 lead and stifled Georgia's comeback hopes.

Wisconsin now has a 14 and 1 record. Georgia is eight-and-four.

Takais Brown led Georgia with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

The Bulldogs led 34-to-31 at the start of the second half when Brown backed in for a basket, but Georgia never led again.
