MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Seventh-ranked Wisconsin upset visiting second-rated Pittsburgh 89-to-75 today in Madison.

Alando Tucker had 32 points and ten rebounds and Brian Butch added a career-high 27 points for and had eleven rebounds for the Badgers, as they snapped the Panthers' 21-game nonconference winning streak.

Butch and Tucker each went seven-of-nine from the field and scored 20 points in the first half.

The rest of the Badgers got into the act in the second half in Wisconsin's first victory over a team ranked higher than seventh since Bo Ryan took over the Badgers in 2001.

Wisconsin is now 11-and-1, while Pittsburgh is 10-and-1.

Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon had never lost before January first in a season, a streak of 44 games. But the Panthers struggled despite a strong effort from seven-foot center Aaron Gray, who was sick with strep throat.

After going scoreless over the first ten minutes, Gray led the Panthers with 17 points.
