He grabbed the kids attention by saying the Brewers have stunk the past couple years, but he says he's working on changing that. The Brewers have lost over 95 games in each of the past two years, and haven't had a winning record in over a decade.

The excuse for losing has been that the Brewers are a small market team, but Payne says that excuse won't fly anymore.

First off, Payne says the Brewers need to instill a winning attitude. He says when he first started people working for the Brewers were acting like losers, and that needs to change before anything else.

He also says that they need to improve their minor league system, something they're working on right now.

Payne says everyone's gotta produce. "If guys aren't playing well, they won't play at all."
Payne concluded his presentation today by saying that sports is just like life; you have to work hard to succeed.
