Just months after a tearful goodbye, Brett Favre is coming back. According to ESPN's Ed Werder, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will reinstate Brett Favre on Monday and will then be added to the Packers' active roster at noon.

Favre is scheduled to leave his home in hattiesburg, MS around 3:30 and be in Green Bay sometime around 6:00. Favre will not attend Family Night at Lambeau this evening. More than 60,000 fans will fill up Lambeau tonight for Family Night.

On Saturday, Goodell said he wanted a resolution to the situation between Favre and the Packers even if he had to "force the issue."

I think that Brett Favre should be put on the Packers active Roster and act as backup to Arron Rogers. He decided to leave the Packers and now wants back in. He should not be released or traded but be a backup to Rogers. If he still wants to be part of football....he will do this.
