GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Marco Rivera says it's an honor and a privilege to retire as a member of the Green Bay Packers.

Rivera finished his career with two seasons in Dallas. He was out of the NFL last year because of recurring back problems.

Rivera was with the Packers from 1996 to 2004 and played in 106 consecutive games, including the post-season.

He says to retire as a Packer is the "greatest thing you can say as a football player in the NFL."
