HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- It's an inhospitable trip for most visitors as Marquette's women head to Connecticut to play the top-ranked Huskies.
It's the first time in program history that the Golden Eagles have played the Number One team in the nation in the regular season.
The Golden Eagles are 14-11 overall and 6-6 in the Big East.
Connecticut is 24-1 and 11-1 with its only loss to Rutgers, 73-71, on February 5.
The Huskies boast a trio of players averaging in double figures, led by freshman Maya Moore.
