PHOENIX (AP) -- Ben Sheets says that injuries he's suffered the past three years haven't diminished his capability as a pitcher.
Sheets was limited to 24 starts last year because of injuries, but went 12-5 with a 3.82 ERA.
Sheets says don't ask if his "stuff is diminishing" because he's not on the field.
He says he's still capable of pitching good games.
His goal this season is to pitch 200 innings, something he hasn't done since 2004.
It's the last year of Sheets' four-year, $38.5 million contract.
