Colby's Rosemeyer Voted NC7 Coach of the Year
It's awards season time here at NewsChannel 7.
Today, Colby was kind enough to let me drop in on their welcome home celebration for their Division 5 state runner-up Hornets.
There, I presented the NewsChannel 7 Coach of the Year award to an unsuspecting Jeff Rosemeyer.
In his 19 years as head coach, this is the first time he's won the award. To have his fellow coaches from northcentral Wisconsin be the one's voting make it that much more special.
The Hornets just wrapped up a 13-1 season and a state runner-up in the Division 5 championship game.
The 50th edition of the NewsChannel 7 Football All-Stars will be announced next week. The defensive All-Stars will be revealed on Tuesday, November 23 and the offense will follow on Wednesday, November 24.
