GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packer center Scott Wells will miss next week's game after he broke a bone around his eye when he was poked by a defensive lineman.
Coach Mike McCarthy says Wells will miss next week's game with Washington.
The Packers have their bye week after that.
Jason Spitz will fill in at center while Wells is out.
McCarthy also says wide receiver Greg Jennings, who left the game in the third quarter to get X-rays on his shoulder, is feeling better.
Jennings made four catches for 83 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown, in the loss to the Chicago Bears last night.
