MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers' season is over, and general manager Doug Melvin already has some decisions to start thinking about in the offseason.

One is whether to keep closer Francisco Cordero, who will be a free agent.

Cordero had 44 saves in 51 chances and says he wants to stay with the Brewers.

He says he loves Milwaukee, his teammates, his coaches and everyone associated with the team.

Melvin also has to decided whether to pick up their option for next year on outfielder Geoff Jenkins.

He's been with the Brewers since 1998 and would make $9 million next season.
