MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Prince Fielder says he doesn't really want to keep his 50th home run ball as a souvenir.
He's after Number 52, and he also has an MVP award in his sights.
He says his goal is to outdo his estranged father Cecil Fielder, who never got more than 51 homers and never won the MVP award in his own major league career.
And the younger Fielder isn't kidding. He says that should shut the senior Fielder up.
He commented after hitting two homers in last night's win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
He's now the youngest player ever to hit 50 homers in a season, accomplishing it about a year younger than previous record-holder Willie Mays.
