Throughout the area, it was a common sight to see people out enjoying the sun and unusual warmth. It may seem very early but, Rib Mountain Golf Course is now open for business, and looking forward to these, spring like temperatures.
Rib Mountain golf course opened Tuesday, and says they are excited for the spring like weather. Their decision to open this early even came as a surprise to them.
Course Owner, Mike Oliva says, "It was a decision we made this morning. You cant forecast it. If the forecast is right you never know, and it was. You can’t be closed, people want to golf and their chomping at the bit."
The owners of the course say the warm weather has allowed them open up their course earlier than they usually would, allowing them to hopefully bring in more business than most years.
As of Tuesday, the course has eight of their nine hole course open. They say the course will remain open as long as the weather permits.
