MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin snowmobilers might have to keep their machines in the garage this weekend.

Last weekend's thaw and a forecast calling for warmer temperatures in the next few days are forcing counties to shut down snowmobile trails across south-central Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says Columbia, Crawford, Juneau, La Crosse, Milwaukee, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Pierce, Sheboyogan, St. Croix, Trempealeau and Winnebago counties, among others, have closed their trails. Several other south-central counties report poor trail conditions.

A complete list is available on the Department's Web site, www.travelwisconsin.com.
