Little ghosts and goblins are likely worn out after a busy night of trick-or-treating in Wausau Monday evening.

Wausau streets were busy for hours as children went door-to-door filling up their bags with candy.

Many children stopped by Mary Hoffmann's home on Franklin Street, which was busy all evening.

Hoffmann says she spent months planning her spooky decor, which includes giant spider webs and gravestones of recently departed celebrities.

"I just enjoy the playfulness of it,' Hoffmann said. "I mean, look at what we've got, everybody's dressing up, dogs are dressing up.. it's just fun."

She says Halloween is her favorite holiday, and every year she goes all out to celebrate.

This year Hoffmann handed out candy, school supplies, and fake tattoos for the trick-or-treaters.
