Snowmobile Trails to Open in Vilas County Monday

Get out your sleds and snowmobiles, the trails in Vilas County will open Monday.

The program coordinator said because it's early season ridding, you need to be cautious of rough areas. In the low areas, swamps are not frozen.

Also, do not cross lakes unless they are marked and available for you to ride on.

About 479 miles of trails in Vilas County will open Monday at noon.
