John McPhee and Mary Leist own a farm on Memory Lane in Marathon and wanted to come up with a unique way of earning some extra income. They contacted a friend who owned an old sleigh and started their work.

" We got it from an Amish friend. We tried to copy it from the 1900's. We had to do a lot of modifications," says John McPhee.

The couple says they are considering summer sleigh rides. This is their first year taking people on sleigh rides and they've loved every minute of it.

The couple will take people on the sleigh rides day or night with reservations only.
