Our Favorite Holiday Memories.

The holidays are a time to gather with family and friends, and with that comes memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. Here are some of the holiday memories we here at Channel 7 hold dear...

"My favorite Holiday memory has actually turned into a tradition for my family. Every year on Christmas we to to the 4 o'clock mass which is a very special thing because its the children's mass and that's always a special part of our Christmas celebrations. and then my whole family gets together and we eat dinner and open gifts and we end the night by watching "A Christmas Story" which is my favorite holiday movie, " says Diana Normand- Sunrise 7 Sunday Anchor

News Director Sue Ramsett says,
"Its really hard for me to pick one favorite Christmas memory because all of our Christmas' were spectacular growing up pulled out all the stops. Now that I am a mom I think that Christmas is even better, and my dad is still???? because every year he dresses up as Santa Claus for my little boy and his very first Christmas he made a video for him dressed like Santa Claus that will always be one of mt favorite Christmas memories."

Video Journalist Jennifer Kliese says,
"Well I do have a lot of happy holiday memories, Christmas and New Years, and whatnot, my family does keep it pretty low key though. But I think this year will be a holiday memory that will last quite a long time, because I'm going to the Rose Bowl, on New Years so I will be Spending New Years at the Rose Bowl. So its pretty exciting! "

Stephanie Luisier Anchor of the 10 o'clock news says,
"My favorite Christmas Memory is something that actually happens every year on Christmas Eve after we have our big dinner and then we all go into the living room and sit around and decorate the Christmas tree and open presents and just drink egg nog and talk with each other and just enjoy each others company and its just that perfect moment that i look forward to every year."

Video Journalist Ben Zblewski says,
"My favorite Christmas memory has to be the year that my brother, my brother-in-law and i all received R-C cars for Christmas..now mind you we were 22 years old so we were pretty old to have R-C cars but it was the most fun playing with them around the house and acting like a little kid again. A great time."

Weekend Anchor Liz Hayes says,
"The first ones a little materialistic but I was a little girl I loved playing with dolls and I got a Magic Nursery doll it was really cool because you couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl and you took the paper diaper and put it into a bowl of watter and then it would say if it was a boy or a girl, or if you were really lucky it would be twins. Well mine was Twins and instead of just sending me one doll they sent me TWO and it was so exciting as a little girl, I loved it and I'll never forget. "

Video Journalist Amy Schultz says,
"My favorite holiday memory would have to be when my cousins and I were younger and every December we would all get together at our Grandma's house to make cut out Christmas cookies..it was something that was special to us all, something that was just us and Grandma. This year instead of giving all us granddads our usual Christmas ornament she is wrapping up all those cookie cutters and passing them on to us...

All of us here at NewsChannel 7 hope this holiday season is a memorable one.
