Dora, Michael Jackson Costumes Popular in Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Wisconsin residents can expect to see plenty of Hannah Montana, Bumblebee Transformers and Dora the Explorer costumes this Halloween.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Wisconsin residents can expect to see plenty of Hannah Montana, Bumblebee Transformers and Dora the Explorer costumes this Halloween.
A price-comparison Web site says those outfits are drawing the most interest among kids in the Badger State.
Sortprice.com says the trend is a little different nationwide, where the top three items for kids are Bumblebee Transformers, Batman and Buzz Lightyear costumes.
Adult men in Wisconsin are most interested in Michael Jackson, vampire and Batman costumes. Women here seem to favor sexy nurse and sexy barmaid outfits.
The rankings are based on Internet searches from Wisconsin-based computers, not actual sales. That's because sortprice.com lists merchandise for other companies but doesn't make sales itself.
In Chicago, on St. Patrick's Day, the rivers are dyed green.The actual color of St. Patrick is blue.
In Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day, people traditionally wear a small bunch of shamrocks on their jackets or caps.
The very first St. Patrick's Day parade was in Boston in 1737.
In Seattle, there is a ceremony where a green stripe is painted down the roads.
