STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) -- A team called "Network" is again champion of the world's largest trivia contest.

Network compiled 10,035 points to defeat Graduates of a Lesser God to win the 39th annual, 54-hour marathon of the mind that ended late Sunday night in Stevens Point.

Coordinator Jim Oliva says Network has won the contest more than 15 times.

Last year's winner, Tin Man, finished third.

Oliva says the 39th annual contest attracted 433 teams.

Oliva says the final day of the contest was marked by sadness.

He says longtime announcer, 57-year-old Tom Daniels, died unexpectedly Sunday of an apparent heart attack.
