Democratic Sen. Hillary Clinton was initially in favor of deploying U.S. troops.
But, she says she would have voted differently if she had known then what she knows now.
Clinton wants a cap put on the number of American troops serving in Iraq.
The senator from New York cast her vote for construction of a 700-mile fence along the U.S.-Mexican border.
She also supported Bush-backed immigration reform legislation, aimed at improving border security technology.
The measure also established a legal path to citizenship for some illegal immigrants.
Clinton does not support granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, an issue she was accused of waffling on before providing a firm "no" during a debate.
On health care, Clinton wants all Americans to have coverage.
Her plan, which would cost an estimated $10 billion a year, would be funded in part by eliminating the Bush tax cuts for people earning more than $250,000 a year.
