MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Jim Doyle plans to head north to discuss the environment and economy with leaders in Canada.
Doyle's office says he'll leave Monday to visit Winnipeg, Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto. The secretaries of the Natural Resources and Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection departments will go with him.
The governor plans to discuss economic strategies and relationships with Wisconsin with leaders and give a speech at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars' Canada Institute in Toronto.
He also plans to meet with Quebec Premier Jean Charest and Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty to discuss environmental issues, including climate change and a plan to preserve Great Lakes water.
