The Lac do Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Council has voted to remove Muriel Fralick as Tribal Treasurer.

Four of the five members of an impartial committee met with the council and presented their findings. The fifth member failed to appear Friday morning to present his findings. Fralick left the room before the hearing began.

Fralick can file a written appeal to the Tribal Government to bring the matter to a vote by the Tribal membership.

An interim Tribal Treasurer will be appointed based on results from the last general election. The individual with the second highest vote total will be appointed to the position.
