The Vietnam wall is a tribute that pays respect to more than 58,000 Vietnam era service men and women killed or missing in action.

One of the traveling replica's of the monument will be on display at the VFW on River Dr. in Wausau from Thursday until Monday.

Various ceremonies are planned while the wall is in Wausau. It's free to stop by and take a look.

Organizers of this stop say it also honors those who have served in all the conflict our country's been in.

I just watched the Thurs noon news report on the Viet Nam Wall replica now in Wausau. I enjoyed the presentation and hope to visit the exhibit, but I was appalled at the audacity of your reporter asking the soldier what his feelings were when finding the names of men he knew!! How callous and uncaring of her. How the hell did she THINK he felt????? Just thought it a very inappropriate inquiry that offended me, personally.
