Marine Lance Corporal David Lemmer recently returned from his second tour of duty in Iraq.

Lemmer was on night patrol while in the war, searching for people planting roadside bombs.

Lemmer is stationed in 29 Palms, California is home visiting family in Marathon City.

He is a 2005 graduate of Marathon High School and joined the service shortly thereafter.

Lemmer has one more year to serve in the Marines and couple be sent anywhere in the world, with a good chance of a third Iraq tour.
