Marine Corporal Ryan Flowerette of Stevens Point graduated from SPASH in 2005 and enlisted in the Marine Corps in February 2006.

Flowerette served in Iraq's Al Anbar province later that year and into 2007.

Upon returning home, he applied for Marine security guard training and is now assigned to diplomatic security in Vienna, Austria.
