125 soldiers who've been fighting in the war in Iraq are finally home.

Members of the National Guards Troop E, 105th Cavalry, based in Merrill and Antigo landed safely at Volk Field just after noon today.

They were greeted by hundreds of relieved, cheering family members.

The unit left in June, 2007 and spend two months at Camp Shelby, Mississippi before heading to the Middle East.

There, they conducted convoy security.
