Gregory W. Martens, 71, of Wausau died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at his home. Greg was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He and his wife, Angela, owned North 3rd Avenue Sport Shop, Wausau. Survivors include his wife, Angie, daughter, Robin (Rico) Martens-Jaeger, son, Jeffrey (Jenne) Martens all of Wausau, five grandchildren, and one brother, Gary (Dorothy) Martens, Gile, WI. Services will be Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
