The Merrill Historical Society is quickly finishing its brand new building. The new Merrill History and Culture Center will be at the old Bethlehem Lutheran Church on East Third Street.

The society was organized in 1978 and since then used a space down the street at the old T.B. Scott House.

Now, historians have been working inside the 86 year-old church for a new and exciting historic space.

Organizers are excited about what the new building will bring. The expanded space will allow more room for exhibits and artifacts. Organizers also hope that the new additions will stir up people’s curiosity to learn more about their communities’ history.

The grand opening is set for February.
